About SEST 2020 Annual Meeting;

At the SEST board meeting held on May 23, we have discussed the current situation of new corona virus. The decision is that the SEST meeting at Kumamoto will be postponed to 2022, and 2020 Annual Meeting will be held on the web space. For more details, we will announce in the beginning of July. We would appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Outlines

Date: November 13-15, 2020
Place: On the web.
Chair: Tohoku University, Institute for Materials Research, Prof. Hiroyuki Nojiri.
Deadline for submission and abstract: Scheduled for September 11.
Registration Deadline: Registration of poster files, video files, etc. End of October (Strict).
Lecture types: Symposiums, general lectures, poster lectures, as in previous years.
Lecture method (tentative): Oral presentation is a Zoom meeting (interactive question and answer), and poster presentation is a combination of video preview (viewing only) and interactive session by a personal zoom meeting where you can perform discussion.
Participation fee: General ¥5,000, Students ¥3,000
Awards: Nomination and judging will be made as usual.
Organizing Committee: Since the meeting is held on the web, we form a program committee and convener groups for each session from a wide range of SEST members regardless of regions and positions.
The secretary office is located in the Magnetism division, Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University.
